Information we collect

When you visit the website

Our hosting provider processes the technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. This may include your IP address, request date and time, requested page or asset, browser and user-agent information, referring information, response status and a request identifier.

When you contact us

If you email or telephone us, we receive the information you choose to provide. This may include your name, contact details, organisation, job title, the content of your enquiry, attachments and associated email or call metadata.

Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your enquiry and you are authorised to provide it.

How and why we use personal information

• Website delivery and security: to provide the site, diagnose faults, prevent abuse and maintain security. We rely on our legitimate interests in operating a secure and reliable website.
• Enquiries: to understand and respond to your message and manage our relationship with you. We rely on legitimate interests or, where your enquiry concerns a possible contract, steps requested before entering into a contract.
• Providing services: to administer and perform an agreement with you or your organisation. We rely on contract and our legitimate interests in managing business relationships.
• Legal and business records: to meet legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not use this website for behavioural advertising, visitor profiling or automated decision-making. We do not sell personal information.

Who receives personal information

We share information only where necessary with:

• Netlify: website hosting, content delivery, security and request logging.
• Google Workspace: receipt and storage of email sent to our business address.
• Telecommunications and email providers involved when you contact us.
• Professional advisers, contractors or service providers who need the information to support us and are subject to appropriate duties.
• Courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies or other parties where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.

International transfers

Some suppliers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards, we use providers that support an applicable adequacy arrangement or contractual protections designed to protect transferred information.

How long we keep information

• Routine website request logs are retained for no longer than 30 days, unless a specific record is needed to investigate a security incident, abuse or a legal claim.
• If an enquiry does not lead to work, we normally retain the correspondence for no longer than 24 months after the last substantive contact.
• Where an enquiry leads to a client or supplier relationship, relevant contractual and transaction records may be kept for up to six years after that relationship ends.

We may keep information for longer where legislation requires it or while a dispute or legal claim is active. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:
